Google demos new Google Maps on Nexus S
Google have released a demo video of Google Maps 5 on the upcoming and much anticipated Nexus S. The Nexus S is the first phone to run Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), which was released at the start of this week.

Android 2.2 overtakes 2.1 in version statistics for the first time
Google have updated their Android platform versions chart with Android 2.2 (Froyo) overtaking Android 2.1 (Eclair) for the first time. In fact, 83% of Android phones are now 2.1 or above, showing a welcome further decline in the fragmentation that once plagued the platform.

More images of PlayStation Phone emerge
Gadget blog Engadget have posted more information and images of the rumoured PlayStation Phone. The Android powered device, codenamed “Zeus”, has not yet been verified by Sony, but Engadget are adamant about its authenticity.
