- More images of PlayStation Phone emerge Gadget blog Engadget have posted more information and images of the rumoured PlayStation Phone. The Android powered device, codenamed “Zeus”, has not yet been verified by Sony, but Engadget are adamant about its authenticity.

- Rainbow add-on for Firefox records audio and video In keeping with Mozilla’s vision of innovation and progression around its popular browser Firefox, Mozilla have extended the browser’s media capabilities by adding audio and video recording functionality to the browser also. Mozilla Labs have released an early developer prototype of a Firefox add-on called Rainbow that allows users to record audio and video with a few lines of JavaScript.

- Microsoft announces new browser-based game marketplace Microsoft have announced Games for Windows Marketplace, a new browser-based PC game store that combines Microsoft’s Windows Games on Demand store with the ease of the web. The marketplace will launch on November 15th and will offer users a large selection of games, simplified navigation and purchase, and recurring specials such as "Deal of the Week".
- Google’s 1 gigabyte broadband trial In a blog post today, Google announced their plans to trial an ultra-high speed broadband network on part of Stanford University’s campus. This is the first time Google will experiment with new fiber optic technologies outside of their own premises, with speeds of up to 1 gigabit per second achievable.
