Amazon’s redesign is all about tablet-friendly shopping
Amazon has confirmed that it is in the process of testing a "major" redesign of its website, the first such design change since September 2007. From a screenshot that we've seen, it looks like the site version will be cleaner and contain less navigational elements like category hover states, making it more accessible to tablet devices.

GameStop to begin selling iOS devices, starts accepting Apple trade-ins
Games retailer GameStop may begin to sell iOS devices, like the iPod, iPhone and iPad, in their 6,500 stores worldwide as the iPhone 5's imminent release date approaches, according to 9to5mac.com. This speculation is substantiated by the fact that GameStop has confirmed they are now accepting second-hand Apple products in lieu of store credit.

Microsoft unveils multi-touch mouse
Almost two years after Apple introduced the Magic Mouse, Microsoft has unveiled their new Touch Mouse. The multi-touch mouse functions as a normal mouse, but also allows users to perform certain tasks on Windows 7 using fingertip gestures on the mouse's capacitive surface.

Two arrested over Fine Gael website hack, subsequently released without charge
Two teenagers were arrested early this morning on suspicion of hacking Fine Gael's website in January of this year and allegedly gaining access to contact details of 2,000 site subscribers. Both males were released without charge a short time ago.

Google's +1 button plans unfolding, search rank influence next
Since Google's +1 button initially launched in March of this year, Google has been hard at work improving its overall usefulness and relevance to Google product users. Now, Wired are reporting Google's overarching intent for the +1 button; +1 clicks will influence rank in Google Search results.
