Tesco to offer free Wi-Fi in stores Tesco is planning to offer customers free Wi-Fi in stores across the UK, possibly the first such move by a supermarket chain operating in Britain. Apple to buy on-demand video giant Hulu? Apple is reportedly considering making a bid for Hulu, the on-demand TV show and movie streaming service, according to Bloomberg. Bloomberg quote two people "who weren't authorized to speak publicly" that Apple are in early talks with Hulu, and may eventually make an offer for the video giant. Facebook ad prices increase by 74% as demand soars The cost of advertising on Facebook is rising fast as more and more large brands allocate greater marketing resources to their online efforts. A report published today by TBG Digital, an independent marketing firm specialising in Facebook advertising campaigns, suggests that the average Facebook ad CPC (cost per click) rate increased by 74% in the past 12 months.
