- Countdown to Ireland's digital TV switchover begins In exactly 100 days Ireland's television network will no longer be broadcast in analogue form, instead replaced by digital, marking the most significant change in Ireland's broadcast history since the coming of colour television in 1969.

- Channel 4’s 4HD available on Freesat this April Freesat, providers of subscription-free satellite TV, have today announced that Channel 4’s 4HD will be arriving on Freesat this April, bringing the total number of high definition channels available on the service to four. Currently BBC One HD, BBC HD, and ITV 1 HD are offered.
