Maxroam launches its own virtual mobile network in the UK
Maxroam has launched its own virtual mobile network in the United Kingdom, after reportedly signing an operator agreement with Vodafone UK. As a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO), Maxroam can offer its global customers domestic rates while in the UK.

Google may open retail store on Dublin campus
Google may open a retail store at its European headquarters in Dublin, according to a planning application approved by Dublin City Council last month. In September last year, Google opened its first public retail store within a branch of Currys and PC World in London.

Google announces plans for a €75 million energy-efficient data centre in Ireland
Google Ireland has announced plans to construct a highly energy-efficient data centre on a newly acquired 11-acre site near Clondalkin, Dublin. The €75 million investment will create 30 full-time jobs, with a further 200 required during construction.
