With seven weeks to go until October's Dublin Web Summit, a major keynote speaker from Facebook has been announced; Ethan Beard. Ethan is one of eight speakers announced this week, with over 60 speakers planned for October's event.

44% of Irish population on Facebook [Infographic]
Last week we tweeted a few statistics concerning Facebook's user base as a percentage of the Irish population. Now Edelman, a PR company operating in Ireland, has released this infographic confirming that almost 44% of the Irish population are on Facebook.

Google's +1 button plans unfolding, search rank influence next
Since Google's +1 button initially launched in March of this year, Google has been hard at work improving its overall usefulness and relevance to Google product users. Now, Wired are reporting Google's overarching intent for the +1 button; +1 clicks will influence rank in Google Search results.

Facebook now serving one trillion pageviews each month
Facebook served over one trillion pageviews in June and again in July of this year, according to data from Google's advertising services subsidiary DoubleClick. The data is estimated by Google, but in our own experience is very accurate.

Ticketmaster lets you see where your friends are sitting with new Facebook integration
Ticketmaster has just introduced a great example of how Facebook's social graph can be used in the real world. Event attendees can now share their venue seat location with Facebook friends, or with the wider Facebook community if so desired, on interactive venue maps.
