- Apple to announce two new iPhones next month It's been over one month since we published our last iPhone 5 rumour so here's something to feed fan-boys' appetites. Apple will launch two new iPhones next month; an improved specification iPhone 4 and a new "tear-drop" shaped iPhone 5.
- Apple Store down, new MacBook Air coming? The Apple Store has been down for two hours, almost certainly signaling the arrival of Mac OS X Lion, Apple's latest version of their desktop operating system, and possibly a refreshed MacBook Air, later today.
- iPhone 5 may include an 8-megapixel camera built by Sony Sony CEO Sir Howard Stringer may have inadvertently admitted that Sony image sensors will be used in the iPhone 5. In an interview with Walt Mossberg from the Wall Street Journal the Sony chief stated, possibly accidentally, that image sensors manufactured in Sony’s Japanese factories on their way to Apple may be delayed as a result of last month’s massive earthquake and tsunami.
- Apple to debut iPad 2 on March 2 Apple is expected to debut the iPad’s successor, dubbed the iPad 2, next week, Wednesday March 2, at an event in San Francisco according to All Things Digital. Although no official invites have been sent out yet, it’s rumoured that the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts will be the likely venue.
- Job posting hints at Apple’s plan to make television sets [Rumour] A recent job posting on Apple’s website has given rise to rumours that they may be working on not only Apple TV, but on television sets themselves - a rumour that first surfaced back in 2009.
- iPad 2 to launch within weeks According to Digg founder Kevin Rose the iPad 2 will launch within weeks, and possible as soon as February 1st.
- Is Facebook building a phone? [UPDATED] Rumours have started to surface that Facebook is secretly building a phone. Similar to the iPhone and Google’s Nexus One, it is understood that Facebook may be planning to develop the OS and employ a third party to manufacture its hardware.
