UK users can now rent and stream new release movies on YouTube
Back in May we reported that Google introduced YouTube movie rentals to users in the United States. Last month, YouTube expanded this service to users in Canada and has today done the same for those living in the UK.

Apple to announce budget iPhone 4 and new iPhone 4S tomorrow, but no iPhone 5?
With a little over 24 hours until Apple CEO Tim Cook showcases the next iPhone, evidence is gathering that the rumoured teardrop-shaped iPhone 5 will not make its debut. Instead, a budget iPhone 4 and new iPhone 4S models will be announced for immediate or near-immediate release, with the iPhone 5 now expected to launch at a later date.

Ireland has the second slowest broadband in the EU
Ireland is listed at 41 in world internet speed rankings, behind other countries like Bulgaria, Poland and the United Kingdom, according to aggregated data from SpeedTests.net. Perhaps most dishearteningly, Ireland has the second lowest internet speeds among EU member states, only scoring marginally better than Luxembourg in last place.

WordPress powers 22% of new active domains in the US
WordPress founder Matt Mullenweg published some impressive platform statistics earlier this week that show the content management system's continued phenomenal growth this year. WordPress now powers 14.7% of the top million websites, up from 8.5% one year ago, and perhaps more interestingly, 22% of all new active domains in the US run WordPress.

Detailed renderings of Apple's new circular HQ in Cupertino, California
The official website for the city of Cupertino, California has posted new renderings of Apple's planned circular headquarters, first revealed in June of this year. The building, officially known as "Apple Campus 2", will house 12,000 Apple employees in a single four-story circular structure that is due completed by 2015.
