Facebook intern Paul Butler has created this really interesting visualisation of Facebook relationships around the world. Butler used a subset of 10 millions friend pairs and Facebook social graph data to map friend connections with their geographical locations.

YouTube 2010 review in less than 90 seconds
Not to be outdone by Google's Zeitgeist 2010 or Twitter's trends of 2010 , YouTube have released their Rewind 2010: Year in Review video collage. The eighty-six second clip summarises this year’s most popular videos on YouTube, the world’s most popular video sharing site.

Top ten YouTube videos of 2010
YouTube have created a channel called YouTube Rewind: The Year in Review which offers some interesting insights into the most popular videos on the platform over the past year. No big surprises exist on this year’s list with the usual viral ads, music video parodies, and of course Justin Bieber.

Watch ITV and Channel 4 content on your PS3
ITV and Channel 4 are both expected to launch the first commercial video content that can be viewed in the UK via the PlayStation 3 later this week. This follows a similar strategy from the BBC which launched its BBC iPlayer for the PS3 last year.

Google demos new Google Maps on Nexus S

CSO recruiting 5,000 for next year’s census
The recruitment process for Ireland’s 2011 census is due to begin shortly with 5,000 enumerators needed. Enumerators will work on a part-time basis for a ten week period between March and May 2011, with average earnings of €2,200.

Introducing Eircom’s free music streaming service MusicHub
Earlier today Eircom, Ireland’s largest ISP, launched its free music streaming service known as MusicHub. Eircom MusicHub allows free unlimited music streaming for existing Eircom broadband customers, and music downloads for as little as 32c per track.
